Blender model of scissors

I'm pretty sure this is a fairly decent model of 3D scissors. It's a .blend file, so you'll need Blender to view it.
Click on the picture to see it full size. This is only one view of the scissors though, open the blend file to get the full 3D experience.

This was done as part of COSC342, a computer graphics paper at Otago University. The first assignment was to use Blender to draw a pair of scissors the lecturer brought along to our first class. Several weeks and a number of late nights being frustrated at Blender's inability to save my work immediately before the the computer crashes (again) later, this was the result.

Mark? 96%. I didn't add anything 'extra' to the picture and supposedly the outer edges of the blades are straight. They're not, if you look closely you can see they're just slightly curved. I didn't complain because the image is still far from perfect, so I was pretty happy with that.

Second 342 assignment? A triangle ray tracer.
